The best accommodations Rožaje (Рожаје)

Located a stone's throw from the Ganića Tower, on the first floor of a small building, this modest establishment offers eight large, clean and bright apartments, but with somewhat dated furniture and tiny bathrooms. Each room has a fridge, kitchenette and TV. The advantage here is that the apartments are located in the centre of town, close to the places of life. It's not the greatest luxury, but just necessary for tourists who want to feel the atmosphere of a small Muslim town in the Balkans.

The Rožaje was completely renovated about ten years ago and has nothing to do with the socialist hotel it was. The rooms are large and very comfortable, treated in a 1930s charm, just like the whole hotel. The only exception is the facade, which consists of two smoked glass triangles that are supposed to represent the mountains. The hotel is very well equipped, with a sauna (included in the price). The restaurant is also decorated in the 1930s. The whole is a success for this 4 stars, really amazing in this city at the end of the world.

Located 3 km from the city centre along the Berane-Rožaje state road, this small, family-run hotel was opened in 2006. It offers all simple but comfortable rooms with central heating and storage furniture. The bonus is in the offer of cute little balconies in some rooms. There are bathrooms with showers in every room. As a bonus, a friendly welcome and very low prices. In short, good value for money and a starting point for walks in the surrounding wooded hills.
