Sports and leisure activities Nikšić (Никшић)

Less than 10 km east of the town of Nikšić is a watering hole as if you were at the end of the world. From the center, take the road to Laz. The lake is about 2 km long and lies in the middle of the Dinaric Alps. The lake itself offers the possibility of kayaking, rowing and windsurfing. In town, you can rent bicycles and ride around the lake several times, passing around the Župa monastery (Жупа). When the weather is nice, you can take a boat and sail with the oars.

The Nevidio extreme sports association offers one-day canyoning from mid-June to the end of September. Trekking also possible in the beautiful high altitude lakes Kapetanovo, Grahovo or Bilećko.
