It's one of the most famous English pubs in the old town, attracting mostly Anglo-Saxons craving strong draught beers, as here the much-loved Guinness (Irish dark ale) flows freely. Its quiet, shady location in the old town makes it a great daytime stop-off on its terrace (even without drinking beer!). It also offers a quiet stopover with its few tables in a cool pedestrian street in summer. Highly recommended on match nights, when soccer fans flock here.
