The Cattaro ladder is the name given to the mountain road that connects Kotor to Cetinje. Built in the 19th century, it was the main access road to the capital. Very winding, narrow, but spectacular, it offers the most beautiful views that one can imagine on the mouths of Kotor.
After 20 km, we arrive in Krstač, a small mountain village. From a Mediterranean climate, we switch to a continental one. Roads lead to ancient fortresses.

The gulf of KOTOR contituent a tour of 165 miles beauty. Taking the ferry, then following the VERIGE you will go along a large fjord 350m framed by summits steep and gullied Dinariques Alps. The small villages and mini ports are exceptional charm. Beware the road is winding and very narrow and camp because the crossings should be early but traffic is not very important especially season. Opposite the village of Perast, the two St-Georges small islands and N.D. the Rocks with its baroque church of the 17th century, are in their mountainous setting views that your video camera or camera will not resist. From the top of the ladder Cattaro the view over the gulf of Kotor is breathtaking. With not missing!
