It's a family affair here, as owner Sanja and her husband Tony have taken over the reins from her father. This forty-year-old institution was the first fish restaurant in the old town. Top dishes include tuna steak, shrimp truffle gnocchi and shrimp sauté with white wine. The restaurant also offers tasty and filling meats that are definitely worth trying, such as the beef carpaccio and the steak. The cream pie is a delight.

Konoba Scala Santa is a traditional family-run restaurant in a quiet corner of the historic heart of Kotor, which was the city's first fish restaurant and continues to concoct delicious fish and seafood dishes: freshly caught fish by weight, grilled tuna, octopus or squid, black rice with squid ink or its famous fish soup are sure to please. And don't forget that the restaurant also offers an equally attractive range of meat specialties, so there's something for everyone to enjoy without breaking the bank. For a convivial moment with family or friends, you can sit down on the spacious terrace. A free wifi connection is available so you can surf freely. A place of reference for a delicious getaway!

Solid food. We had the black cuttlefish risotto and the grilled squid. The flavors were solid. That with the beer and bread, we paid 36 euros (plus a 4 euro tip for service).
Unfortunately they only had two servers who had to run around from table to table.
