The best restaurants Rijeka Crnojevića (Ријека Црнојевића)

Very nice tavern on the river bank and in front of the medieval stone bridge, with a breathtaking view of the lake. Facing the stone bridge built by Prince Danilo, this inn offers fish from the lake, meat and salads. The fish is fresh and tasty, especially the smoked carp; the meat not so good, not grilled enough. Like many tourist spots, the service needs improvement. The interest here is to rest and let time pass as Montenegrins know so well how to do, in a pleasant atmosphere, by the water.

This classic restaurant is a must after a walk around the lake. Formerly known for its fish soup, the Stari Most is now a decent address, but nothing more. It is a good place for fresh fish (carp, eel, trout). Very tender veal to be recommended. Good wine list and homemade apple cake to taste. The Stari Most has a pleasant terrace by the river, with beautiful tables and white tablecloths. The interior room is also well appointed and quite cosy.
