Petit Futé's opinion on FORESTRY MUSEUM
The museum focuses on the work and life of loggers in the 20th century, with photographs of the felling and floating of trees. Fascinating to understand the evolution of a resource and an industry that is still central to Lapland. Timber is a crucial and historical resource at the heart of the country's economy, both in Finland and in other Lapland countries. Wood is present everywhere, and its part in the culture of the Nordic peoples has earned it this lovely and interesting museum. Ideal for a stroll.
