One of the most memorable experiences I have had. it was like staying in fairy land. A dream come true and perfect. The igloo was awesome . Service was great. Food was awesome. The ambience , location and most importantly how it made us feel. Perfect
We as a family had a super time at Apukka. The service was lovely and attended to all of our needs. The location was mind blowing with fresh snow and amazing views from our room far from city lights.
I booked this resort for my parents to enjoy a few days in the North. It was their first time travelling to the Scandinavian countries. They were able to see aurora lights and told me the resort was really nice. I am happy that they enjoyed their stay.
The resort is perfectly located by the lake, a very friendly team.
Buffet restaurant didn't have enough options, but the rooms had the feel of the igloo house. There are so many activities to do in the resort, and they provide warm clothes to wear around the resort.
Beautiful resort and worth the money! We stayed here in March end and blessed with 2 nights of northern lights view directly from our cabin! They have plenty of vegetarian options in their breakfast buffet and even provide winter clothes on request. We found the room side sauna extremely value for money!
Very beautiful, modern and Clean tiny houses including huge Windows to have a chance to see the Aurora lights. Very welcoming and supportive Service as well
We were visiting Lapland for the first time and wanted to experience the glass igloos. It was easy to navigate the website and even book transfers from the airport or train station. We arrived early and although our room wasn’t ready we were provided with snow gear (overalls, wool socks, snow boots and mittens) which is included in the stay. This allowed us to explore the frozen lake and participate in excursions while we waited. The resort areas such as the restaurant, lounge and rooms are clean and cozy. Although we did not see the Aurora during our stay it was worth the experience. I would recommend it if you want a laid back, tranquil and picturesque setting with the opportunities for onsite excursions.
Apukka Resort one of the best resort that iv been to. Thanks to Philippine lady at the reception who assists us very well. The staffs there all friendly and accomodate us perfectly. The glass igloo room is all nice, nothing faulty, clean and superb. The activities that we did there such as sleigh reindeer ride, snowmobile activity worth the money as the winter view was incredible. Staying here makes my Finland trip memorable and will remain in my heart forever. Thanks again, apukka team! Love from Malaysia! ????
Place is very nice and staff very friendly, but details matter when you pay 770€/night, especially for the saunas.
- no free saunas available, ot even a basic one, you must pay for each sauna experience, in Finland even cheaper 100€/night places have free saunas
- very good breakfast, but when you ask for a cappuccino, the answer is "you need to pay extra", shocking
- the common room is not a cozy area, for example with a nice fireplace, as you would expect from a resort with those prices in Lappland
- no special price for the activities, 75€ tour for going with a bus of 50 people just 1h away to try to see the auroras
