Built in 2008, the Vellamo center is entirely dedicated to the sea. You won't be able to miss it: this ultra-modern building is shaped like a giant wave. The design speaks for itself! This major educational structure houses the national maritime museum, temporary exhibition halls, a documentation center, a cafeteria... And this is where you can pick up your ticket for the summer ice-breaker tour (€5/adult). Tip: the museum and the ice-breaker are free for all on Wednesdays from 5pm during the summer (only).
