RESTAURANT KALIVOJ

This restaurant doesn't look like much: a small hut installed on the edge of the lake of Butrint and accessible by a long road. But here they serve very fresh fish caught in the lake, including very good eels cooked on the barbecue. Normally, the star food is the Butrint mussel, called the "queen"(mbretëresha), prepared with cream, in marinara or in parsley without shell. But beware, in case of high temperatures, the mussels are unfit for consumption. Good home-made fries and small salads are served with them.
