MUSÉE ETHNOGRAPHIQUE DE VLORA

Opened in 1982, this municipal museum (Muzeu Etnografik) is housed in a large house dating from the mid-19th century. The building housed the Labëria patriotic club founded in 1908, to which Isamail Qemali belonged, and the first school for girls in Vlora established in 1909. There is an exhibition of ethnography (traditional costumes of the region, handicrafts from the 19th century...) and another dedicated to the Labëria club which militated for the independence of the country.
