KËSHTJELLA DIMAL
In Poshnja (15 km northwest of Berat, towards Fier), this 7-hectare agricultural complex, built around a mock castle, is home to a farm, a vineyard and olive-growing estate, a large restaurant, a hotel with 18 comfortable rooms and a small campsite which is part of the ACSI network (discounts for members). The four Dimal brothers have been making fine wines and rakis here since 1991. Best enjoyed with a good meal based on home-grown organic produce. We particularly recommend the tavë orizi në furrë (rice with baked lamb) and the cheeses.
