The Mount Roberts Tramway is one of the main attractions in Juneau's capital.

One of the main attractions of the capital. It is impossible to miss it since, wherever you are, the red cabins of the cable car detach themselves from the forest. But in fact the interest is not in this tourist attraction but rather in the view that one has at the arrival, dominating the Gastineau Channel, the city and its surroundings. From there, a hiking trail leads to the summit of Mount Roberts. The weather changes quickly and it can start to snow as you approach the summit in any season, so bring warm, waterproof clothing.

Ascension longue et vraiment pendue pour accéder au sommet depuis Juneau par le sentier de randonnée (le chemin habituel était fermé). Possibilité de redescendre par le tramway pour 10 dollars ou de consommer à la boutique/restaurant pour 10 dollars et redescendre alors gratuitement.
Un peu déçus par la vue au sommet malgré un grand ciel bleu. Peut être que la montée en tramway permet une meilleur spectacle ..

The view from the top is superb and there are paths for strolling. If you are courageous, you can also go up by hiking trail that leaves the city. It is pleasant. We did it with children 7 and 10ans.
