KODIAK CRAB FESTIVAL

This festival, which takes place in a remote place in Alaska - on the huge island of Kodiak - takes place every year at the end of May. You have to earn the right to attend just by getting there (possible by ferry or plane). The program of this traditional local festival includes celebrations, food stalls and games around the king of the festival, the King Crab, a giant crab that is a delight for gourmet claw lovers. Activities take place in the city as well as in the different sites and museums of Kodiak, in order to combine cultural discovery and gastronomy.
