This artisanal wool store is a good place to pick up an authentic (and warm) souvenir to bring back from Alaska, including beautiful woolen hats and scarves from Qiviut. But the Wooly Mammoth also has another dimension. Like a small New York café, one comes here to drink a moccha and nibble a bagel while reading a newspaper on a round wooden table perched on the platform near the bay window. Folk music comes out of the speakers and one lingers to look at the pretty postcards and the exhibition on the walls.
