While the resort is renowned for its glacier at 3,600 m, winter offers skiing at all levels, with 2,300 m of vertical drop. Les Deux-Alpes is a ski area with 410 hectares of marked runs for all levels, but the resort's DNA is extreme skiing, with sensations and vertical drops that are unique in the world. The resort is also renowned for its exceptional Freestyle Land and the major events it hosts. The extent of the ski area also allows for off-piste skiing, but always with caution.
