Las Cañas is located 8 km south of Fray Bentos in a privileged environment. The site is open all year round, and includes a campsite along the small road, which offers good services. This seaside resort is formed by a beach of fine sand, where the waters of the river are calm. In summer, the place is very popular with Uruguayan and Argentinean vacationers who come to swim and picnic in the middle of sparse and green vegetation.
