A small collection of sculptures by Fumio Asakura (1883-1964), considered the father of modern Japanese sculpture, to the extent that he is sometimes referred to as the "Japanese Rodin". Some twenty of his works are exhibited in rotation in his former residence, which he designed himself, as are the Japanese gardens. The materials used were of such high quality that the house has been preserved in its original state. Perfect for a quiet cultural interlude.
