The tower dating from 1958 is quite a symbol. To be visited with the Zozo-ji, an imposing temple that stretches out at its feet, imperturbable.
Built in 1958, it stands 333 meters high and looks like a lighthouse overlooking Tokyo. It is a symbol of the city. A first observation platform is located at 150 meters. The second platform is 250 m above the ground. On the first floor, there is a wax museum, a holographic space and a museum of records. We cannot advise you enough to go up there because of the pollution. Other observatories offer a better view of Tokyo. However, the tower hosts many cultural events.

A voir sans monter
La Tour de Tokyo reprend le design de la Tour Eiffel. C'est un joli bâtiment à voir, mais depuis l'observatoire, on ne domine pas toute la ville en plus c'est payant, contrairement à la mairie de Shinjuku.

Un des monuments les plus célèbre de Tokyo. Sorte de tour Eiffel plus petite rouge et blanche. Possibilité d’accéder au premier étage avec vue panoramique ou on a une vue sur Tokyo si il n'y a pas trop de brouillard ou de pollution. Plancher en verre avec vue sur un pylône de la tour.

La tour de Tokyo fait partie des symboles de la ville mais elle est située dans un quartier où il y a peu d'autres points d'intérêt : ne faire le détour que si on a le temps, les observatoires comme la mairie ou la sky tower sont tout aussi intéressants.

Nous avons fait un passage à proximité pour faire une photo de la "tour eiffel" mais si vous avez déjà fait la SKYTREE et/ou l'observatoire de la mairie, l’intérêt est limité pour y monter...

On peut aussi aller au Mori building, ce qui permet de voir la Tour de Tokyo de loin! Mais celle-ci a un charme suranné indéniable.
