TOKYO STOCK EXCHANGE
State building – Town Hall

A symbol of Japan's economic power, the Tokyo Stock Exchange is an essential stock exchange in Asia. First opened in 1878, it is housed inside a large modern building, but the main floor wrapped in a glass cylinder inside is quite small. There is no question of hundreds of people in ties shouting to buy and sell stocks. Computers have replaced them. The visit is quite simple with explanations (in English) on the walls, and some interactive games.
