Within the precincts of Sensō-ji temple lies one of the city's best-known shrines, Asakusa jinja, also known as Sanja-sama. Located to the east of the main building, it can be identified by its stone torii. It was built in 1649 in honor of the 3 founders of Sensō-ji, and unlike the latter, it withstood the air raids of the Second World War. The shrine is at the heart of the Sanja-matsuri festivities in mid-May, when o-mikoshi are carried in procession through the district. If you're lucky, you'll also come across brides and grooms.

tres beau temple!
mettez une petite piece pour connaitre votre good fortune or not!
Available scenery in the heart of Tokyo! You must try its possibility by buying a small paper which is perhaps show you " best Fortune" ! (for some rooms)

Many merchants await you and offer traditional objects (kimono, manekineko...) and pastries and sweets bearing the effigy of the hero of cartoons.

Do not miss at the entrance of the small sanctuary Ghibli shop that the corner, as well as the pretty paper mill.
