Nestled in the working-class district of Kita-Senju, off the beaten tourist track, this pretty sento was completely renovated a few years ago. A crane carved in wood adorns the pediment of the traditional building. The entrance is welcoming and the atmosphere sober and elegant. Three pools, including a whirlpool and a small, subtly scented outdoor bath, are available. The sento is impeccably clean. Frequented by the locals, it's a very friendly place, which makes you want to linger. Not to be missed if you're in the area.
