Theater located below the plateau, built in the century AD and housing stones removed in the century.

The theater is located below the plateau that supports the terraces(cavea). Not much remains of the cavea, whose stones were removed in the middle of the 19th century for the construction of French military buildings. The theater was built in the 1st century AD, probably during the reign of Claudius, but underwent important modifications in the 2nd and 3rd centuries when the trend of games supplanted the interest for dramatic arts. The orchestra and the first rows were then converted into an arena for gladiatorial combat.
