Statue in touching tribute to Albert Camus' deep attachment to the Roman ruins of Tipasa.
Set back, facing Mount Chenoua, a stele honors in a touching way the deep attachment of Albert Camus to the Roman ruins of Tipasa, which he immortalized, in 1939, in Noces. The sentences engraved in the ancient stone by the sculptor Louis Benisti at the death of Camus are extracted from this magnificent essay, the beginning of which reads: "I understand here what is called glory: the right to love without measure. There is only one love in this world."
