L'Algéroise is considered to be one of the best pastry shops in Algiers and for very good reasons. It is, in any case, an old institution opened since 1964, of which Hadj Ali, very proud, will not hesitate to show you the backstage: gigantic oven, copper pans, old scales... An absolutely traditional address on all points. The cakes have the taste of the "old way", are fresh and delicious. We easily fall for a good portion of kalb el-louz and/or several dziriettes. A perfect address for the gourmands.

J grew up in this district at number 16 and therefore I know el Hadj that god preserve it exceptional cakes excellent and pure tradition I live from 30ans in France and I have only his place for my French friends. Recommended Nora boudiaf
