Superbly restored park in Algiers featuring terraced gardens with staircases, aviaries and a pond.
The old Galland Park was inaugurated in 1915 by Charles de Galland, mayor of Algiers from 1910 to 1919 and principal of the Ben Aknoun high school, who donated this beautiful land to the city. The park has just been superbly restored and is therefore even more beautiful since 2018. Its terraced gardens interspersed with stairs, its aviaries and its water feature made it one of the most popular places for walks of the Algerians and one of the most elegant parks of the city.
