The national library on boulevard Frantz Fanon houses no less than ten million books, an electronic village..

Inaugurated in 1994, the National Library of Algeria of Hamma has replaced the old library located on Boulevard Frantz Fanon. This one, become insufficient, is now its annex. This imposing building of 13 levels stores no less than 10 million books and houses four reading rooms, an electronic village, an audiovisual service, a youth library, a service of animation and cultural activities.
