Hotel in Algiers with a bar and gastronomic restaurant of quality.
Inaugurated in 1914, the Hotel Suisse is located in a quiet street adjacent to the bustling Didouche Mourad artery. The good reputation of this establishment, its welcome and its warm setting, the quality of its services and the comfort of its rooms make it one of the best addresses in its category. The hotel has two suites for four people composed of two rooms, a lounge and a large shower room. To complete the picture, the staff is competent and attentive. Quality bar and gourmet restaurant.

very warm welcome for this central hotel with old-fashioned charm. A good base to arrive in the capital of this attractive country which hosts the French.
I took the council of Petit Futé and was not disappointed by this exceptional welcome, beautifully situated in the heart of Algiers. Restaurant at reasonable prices and good selection of wines at unbeatable prices (signal good from few places serve alcohol). Very quiet because in a narrow street overlooking the avenue Didouche Mourad (it, noisy however) and located next to an office police, so access to the supervised hotel. Decent rooms with old-fashioned furniture. The only downside, ancient elevator and noisy and gets along from the rooms. Except for this last point, I will return without doubt in this hotel if I had to return to Algiers.
We stay in Algiers a weekend per month and are used to a hotel lamai but was seduced by the Swiss hotel. The restaurant is extra and the service is worth hotels " luxe". Apartment 601 is ideal for families and in the same price that a double room! The only drawback is park but all can be arranged with the help of the reception staff! An address strongly recommended.
