Domaine Simonis: Grands Crus organic wines, Tangerine orange wine, Vendanges Tardives, and 10-year barrel-aged vinegars.
In the heart of 7.3 hectares nurtured like a secret garden, Katia and Étienne Simonis cultivate singularity. Their vines are rooted in the Grands Crus Kaefferkopf and Marckrain, and in the lieux-dits Vogelgarten and Katzenstegel - Le Clos des Chats, a promising name already... In the cellar, time does its work: grape varieties, reserves, terroirs, Vendanges Tardives, Grains Nobles... and even Tangerine, a vibrant orange wine made from pinot gris macerated in barrels. A rare bonus: organic wine vinegars aged for 10 years in barrel. Great Alsatian art.
