Read moreThis club was founded in 1900 at the Restaurant des Palmiers in Montreux. It allows young and old alike to discover rowing, a sport beneficial to postural development, tenacity and team spirit. Several introductory courses are planned each year during 1 to 2 extremely popular sessions (registration one year in advance). But the traditional outfit - white hat, light and dark blue striped jersey, knee length breeches and black socks - is no longer compulsory.

The Montreux Minigolf offers a magnificent 18-hole course in a charming park full of trees and flowers, on the edge of the lake, between the Villa Florentine and the Petit Palais du Montreux Palace. On site, a refreshment bar offers you cold drinks as well as ice creams or some snacks. It is thus intended to be a place of relaxation, where everyone will spend a pleasant moment in all simplicity.

You can get there on foot from the train station: the natural ice rink in Caux, surrounded by fir trees, is a truly fantastic place in winter. Night-time entries are also possible, to prolong the astonishment at the end of the night. Fondue and raclette can also be enjoyed on site, provided you book in advance!

Go for a first flight at least, it's a unique experience with the sky as your limit, the valley and lake beneath your feet, and an absolutely sublime view, in silence. If the experience is extraordinary, for those with a sensitive heart, it will be a sore test. The paraglider climbs and descends as it turns, following the course of the air masses.
