More modest than the Montreux Palace and the Majestic, the Splendid, built in 1904, also has its facade on the Grand-Rue with a view of the lake. A family hotel since 1934, it is currently in the hands of two brothers who have resurrected its Belle Époque soul and elegantly modernised the rooms. Among the personalities who have stayed here are Lenin in 1908 and the Rolling Stones. Catering facilities are available in the F1rst. The two tables overlooking the lake, away from the rest of the room, are very popular!
