This hotel was so perfect for everything we needed! It’s right outside the main train station with a good link everywhere (Montreaux, Chateau du Chillon, Lausanne, Les Diablerets). Right outside the hotel, you have supermarkets, shopping center, restaurants, pharmacies and even a medical center for adults and kids (just in case). Staff members were incredibly kind and helpful. We had a room upgrade, large bed, seating area, fridge and cooking oven. It’s also a short walk to all main attractions (5-10 minutes) plus bus 201 takes you everywhere. As a plus, there’s a hot tub in the roof top that is perfect to end the day. If there’s any points of improvement, it would be breakfast, that could have a biggger variety. But that wouldn’t not change my opinion about this hotel. For us, it’ll always be our stay when visiting the Vevey-Montreaux area. Highly recommend it!

L'hôtel est très bien, la chambre (318) spacieuse. Quelques menues réparations à faire dans la salle de bain (lampe défectueuse, lunette WC à refixer) mais sans altérer le confort. cela à été rapporté à la réception.
La qualité de l'accueil est irréprochable avec place de parc dans l'hôtel et remise d'une carte de réduction pour les transports publics et plusieurs musées très appréciés.
Nous n'avons malheureusement pas pu profiter du spa, le temps nous manquant.
La brasserie est ce que l'on peut attendre d'un tel restaurant avec un service rapide et efficace.
Nous reviendrons à Vevey qui est une ville plein de charme et nous n'hésiterons pas à descendre à nouveau à l'hôtel Astra qui est très bien situé.

Our group of 25 people stayed at the Astra hotel for a week and we received a great service all week long. Staff at the hotel was really helpful and always prompt to help out.

Hotel très propre, grande chambre bien pensée et grande salle de bain. Service très chaleureux et le restaurant très bon. Bref, nous avons passé un beau séjour! Il manque juste une bouilloire pour se faire un petit thé dans la chambre ...mais sinon rien a redire!

Astra Hotel's location in the heart of Vevey was perfect for exploring the town and its attractions. It was convenient to walk to the lakeside promenade, the Chaplin's World museum, and the local markets.

We chose this hotel because it had a high rating and close to the train. The room was wonderful! The lobby does not reflect the high quality in the rooms...plus we had a covered balcony. The staff was great and stored out luggage. A very good choice in Vevey.....

I stayed during the weekend and had a quiet and comfortable night sleep in Astra. The room was clean and came with all I wanted for a pleasant stay. I recommend to take the breakfast as they offer various goodies for any taste and go the extra mile if you ask kindly. Christophe and Luana at reception were professional and attentive, they helped me get organized to enjoy both the hotel and Vevey. Additionally, the hoteI is centrally located and all services you want are near by. I am happy to stay again at the hotel.

Chambre familiale confortable très spacieuse avec deux salles de bain (très pratique à 4!), personnel adorable et aidant, petit déjeuner excellent, de même pour le restaurant !

Good location and good service overall.
We mentioned a broken window in our room that led us having to bear outside noise all night and the receptionist arrogantly telling us not it's not broken it's the way you open windows in Switzerland...well thanks I live in Switzerland and know what a window is.
Hope this will get fixed for the next ones.

Bel hôtel juste à côté de la gare de Vevey
Étape à côté de la gare de Vevey de retour de vacances. Chambre très confortable et bien décorée avec vue sur les vignobles de Lavaux. Jolie brasserie du début de 20e siècle. Buffet de petit déjeuner très complet et délicieux. Malgré le centre ville et le samedi soir, parking aisé à proximité de l'hôtel. Le lac Leman est à proximité à pied pour de jolies promenades ou un jogging le dimanche matin. Personnel serviable et très professionnel à la réception.

Supplément pour lit bébé mais lit inutilisable. Le matelas qui n’en était pas un, mais oui une mousse, faisait en sorte que les fers du lit se sentait et impossible d’y dormir.
Mon mari a dormi par terre pour pouvoir nous laisser dormir moi et les 2 enfants dans le lit.
Le chauffage des wc en panne et couvert de poussière.
La prise côté du lit en panne.
La robinetterie de la baignoire qui coulaient.
Le petit déjeuner qui n’était rien de spécial, mais restait tout de même bon.
Le personnel toujours souriant.
Même si bien situé, hôtel que je ne conseillerai pas.
Je conseille à l’hôtel de plus tenir compte des avis Google. En effet, j'ai pu voir que d’autres ont eu les mêmes problèmes (chauffage en panne, robinetterie qui coule etc)
