Resolutely modern, this 4-star hotel offers excellent comfort and absolute calm, just steps from the train station, in a street known to be one of the most pentues of the city. With large facades and glass lifts, the Hotel Alpha-Palmiers is playing with light and transparency. In the centre, the small garden is very soothing. The rooms, very clean, feature designer furniture, such as cow's leather chairs. The breakfast buffet is excellent and takes place in the comfortable armchairs of the restaurant Le Jardin Thai, also delicious. Free access to the small fitness room as well as to the sauna-hammam. Wi-Fi internet access.

A very good option in the center of Lausanne to stay during business trips. Prices are also good. The reason I didn't give the 5 star is that the condition of the rooms is quite old. Maybe the hotel should consider a renovation soon. All in all, a very good hotel in Lausanne.
