THE palace of the city. A must-see, if only to take advantage of its wellness facilities or simply for its beauty.
This palace, inaugurated in 1915 in the heart of the city, has retained that out-of-this-world atmosphere that seems to have stopped time. For example, the wide corridors were designed so that the dresses of the elegant ladies did not brush against each other as they passed. If the corridors are a little dark, the classically designed rooms in cream tones are light and very comfortable, some even retaining their fireplaces and balconies. Take a break in the rotunda, under the coffered ceiling, to soak up the atmosphere steeped in history.
