You have to follow a path, not really secret but not really visible, if at all, from the pedestrian street. You have to climb up to the second floor to gain access to the large wooded room. The menu features burgers and a grill, and you can even order in advance and pick up your menu to take away or enjoy on the spot without having to queue.

Behind a pretty blue and white window, rather discreet, lies the best historical in Lausanne! You can choose between three choices of sauce, not at all piquant. Oriental pastries are also delicious.

Ma-Jong is an Asian fast-food restaurant that breaks away from the Swiss norm, with takeaway boxes of Chinese noodles or more elaborate on-site dishes. Excellent pad thai and hearty ramen! The place has opened a second floor that doubles as a sushi bar and karaoke bar (Thursday, Friday and Saturday). The owner, who worked with Japanese for ten years, has decided to offer traditional sushi at affordable prices. Also worth trying: Asian beers such as Tsingtao. A well-known address among regulars.

Tiff-in offers a wide range of dishes to eat in or take away. With a dozen seasonal vegetables for lunch, vegetarians will be delighted! And for the others, you can choose from the many Italian and French dishes, sandwiches and foccacia. Everything here is home-made, even the pastries. People with gluten and lactose allergies will be happy here. If the place has only a few tables, Tanguy the owner bets on the conviviality and the atmosphere "like at home"! Note that it is possible to have brunch on the spot.

Pancs offers a new way of eating pancakes. But in this new and nicely decorated establishment, it is especially the welcome that seduced us. We feel the team is passionate, and their advice makes you want to taste everything! This time, we opted for the smoked salmon pancake with poached egg, spinach and homemade sauce, accompanied by a maple syrup pancake for dessert. We'll definitely be back to try the chicken teriyaki one! On the spot or to go, it's always a delight to go to Pancs.
