Probably the most efficient store for stringed items. The shop is divided into three rooms, starting with upright pianos, electronic pianos and ending with majestic grand pianos. Robert Kneifel, a master piano maker, founded the store in 1917 on rue de la Rôtisserie, which has been at this address for over 90 years now! Good to know: possibility to pay by leasing. It is also possible to rent a piano privately for an evening or a concert. Ten pianos are reserved for this purpose.

Novice, Kneifel m'a conseillée un piano Yamaha d'occasion en m'affirmant qu'il ne nécessiterait pas plus d'un accord par an (j'avais insisté sur le fait que j'avais un petit budget) et je leur ai fait confiance. En 6 mois il sonnait comme un piano de saloon j'ai fait appel à un de leur accordeur (210 chf tout de même...) au bout de 2 mois il est à nouveau désaccordé et on m'affirme que c'est tout à fait normal. Je me sens dupée ! Soit vous pouvez aligner 210 chf tous les 2 mois pour faire réaccorder votre piano, soit changez de magasin !
