The motto of the Café des Banques is clear: "the establishment is exclusively reserved for epicureans". The menu humorously displays terms belonging to the economic domain to present its French cuisine dishes with an Italian touch. It makes no secret of its orientation towards bank customers. Among the "starter purchases" are pan-fried veal rice, marsala juice and mushroom fricassee. In the "fish and meat holding" the filet féra from Lake Geneva a la plancha. It is a bistro with a pleasant atmosphere.

A strategic location for this crêperie just a stone's throw from St Peter's Cathedral and housed in an old building. One can stop on the pleasant shaded terrace after visiting the remains and cathedral. You can continue to admire the old stones while enjoying a savoury pancake made with buckwheat flour, like the Valais with mushrooms and cured ham, to regain your strength. The place is certainly touristy, but it extends your escapade in the old town. All the more so as there are not many creperies in Geneva!

In this gourmet bistro, the emphasis is on the quality of seasonal products. The menu is renewed regularly. Stracciatella of mozzarella, Granny Smith and chopped sorrel, pluma of Pata-Negra lacquered teriyaki style, chopped raw and marinated veal or cappuccino of garriguette strawberries with lemongrass and madeleines, your taste buds will be satisfied. The setting is nice, in a family place that brings warmth. The street separates the restaurant from the Arve river, no doubt the beneficial influence of the water makes you feel even better!

Looking for iodized air? A small corner of Brittany in the Acacias. The tone is set with the terrace all blue and white and the marine decoration: fishing net, lighthouse and miniature boat, and even the beach under the glass tables! But it is in the salted buckwheat pancakes, accompanied by a salad, and the sweet wheat pancakes that the whole Armorique flavour is nestled. This restaurant has changed owners several times and we hope that quality will remain the priority of the place.
