CALL PAL GRINDING AND SAWMILL

In front of the church, the millstone and sawmill of Cal Pal, which date from the end of the ^16th and the beginning of the ^17th centuries, evoke - like the millstone of Mas d'En Solé (^17th c.) not far away - the industrial installations that witness the activities of the valley. Having ceased to function in the 1960s, they were used to grind grain, make flour and cut logs, all propelled by hydraulic power. A demonstration is given during the guided tour.
