The Parc de la Saline is the starting point for a unique walk dedicated to Cherbourg’s transatlantic era.
A unique walk, called Grand Départ, dedicated to the Cherbourg transatlantic era, begins in the Parc de la Saline and takes you to Querqueville. While walking along the sea, you will first discover La Traversée, a huge sculptural work in metal. Then there are 16 sequences of enamelled lava, 3.5 m high, which tell the story of the transatlantic ships, from the Titanic to the Normandie and the famous Queens, in text and images.

Pour ceux qui connaissent pas c'est sur le boulevard de la saline . vous avez une bonne dizaine de panneau avec un QR code à scanner , vous aurez des explications , historique géo politique. C'est sympa
