This handsome ensemble was built in the early century by Jean Richier, a Protestant nobleman.
This explains why this beautiful ensemble is known the world over by intellectuals of the highest calibre. Built in the early 17th century by Jean Richier, a great Protestant seigneur, this handsome residence was enlarged in the 18th century. It remained in the same family until 1819. Part of the buildings and the château are classified as historic monuments. Further afield, greenery, a pond and waterfalls are just some of nature’s wonders. You can also continue your visit here with a detour via the impressive sculpture park.
