BAZAR PHAYAGYI - À LA PAGODE MAHAMUNI

Like any good pagoda bazaar, it brings together all the religious handicrafts of Mandalay, and is particularly well stocked. Musical instruments (gongs, drums, etc.), lacquers, images of Buddha carved in wood or marble... Very interesting. You can also snoop around in the alleys outside the pagoda, where the workshops that produce the handicrafts of the bazaar are located: stonemasons, sculptors, upholsterers, gold leaf layers, etc.
