KING GALON GOLD LEAF WORKSHOP

In this workshop, one can witness the enormous work of striking gold to give the very fine gold leaves that are sold in Myanmar to cover the pagodas. The gold has to be beaten for hours, by hand, to achieve the desired result. An incredible job, and one that we don't suspect. It is possible to buy gold leaf or figurines. Admission is free, but a tip to girls who visit in excellent English is welcome.
