LE TERMINUS
Le Terminus is a restaurant that serves several types of gastronomy to be enjoyed in a nice common space in Barneville-Carteret.
The former Carteret railway station is home to this veritable food court. The concept may not be well known in the Cotentin region, but it's getting a lot of followers! The principle is simple: here you'll find a dozen or so food hubs, offering as many different types of gastronomy, from pizzas to crêpes to burgers. You order, pick up your dishes and enjoy them in a pretty communal area, similar to a village square. You can also order and collect on the spot. A real bargain, open seasonally.

So half of out party order at the burger as they paid cash and the other half couldn't order so went hungry.
The burger was good but the chips weren't nice, paprika spiced?
Be very careful when seating at the square outside benches as THEY ARE NOT CEMENTED OR BOLTED TO THE GROUND AND WILL TIP OVER. So we found out when my elderly parents and myself were tipped onto the ground when the other half of the group got up from the table. No-one came to out assistance.
Truly disappointed, very hungry and fairly angry.
Will I come again or recommend, no, probably not!
Un peu chargé quand les vacanciers sont là mais on y mange bien.
