THÉÂTRE D'OMBRES DE CHAMPASSAK

Yves Bernard, a Frenchman in love with Laos, set up the Théâtre d'Ombres in 2020, with the aim of entertaining the public with musical performances accompanied by puppets hand-made by the members of the association. Chang, a silent film about the Laotian jungle made in 1924, is shown twice a week, accompanied by musicians. The team consists of about twenty Laotians, who are at the same time craftsmen, musicians and actors of this beautiful initiative.
