2.5 km north of the city center.

To Luang Prabang. It takes 4 hours and 70 000 kips. The road is paved on part of the way. Departure at 9am and 2pm. You can also take a bus to Vientiane.

The Tha Deua ferry crossing is quick (about 2.5 hours before arriving in Luang Prabang).

To Vientiane. Departure via Luang Prabang, count 150 000 kips and about 15 hours of travel. Via Pak Lai, departure of a regular bus at 9am and mini-vans at 8am and 10am, count respectively 110 000 and 150 000 kips.
