The Northern Bus Station is located on the other side of the Nam Kham.
- To Oudomxay: three daily departures at 9 a.m., 12 p.m. and 4 p.m., approx. 4 hours' journey. Connection to Luang Namtha at 3pm in Oudomxay.
- To Luang Namtha: daily departures at 9am and 4pm, 8-hour journey. Or take a bus to Houay Xay, stopping off at Luang Namtha.
- To Nong Khiaw: departures at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., 4-hour journey.
- To Nam Bark: departures every two hours between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., a 2.5-hour drive.
- To Phongsaly: departure at 4.30pm, 14-hour journey.
