FODES (FÉDÉRATION DES ORGANISATIONS DE DÉVELOPPEMENT DE LA RÉGION DES SAVANES)
FODES is the umbrella structure for associations and ngos in the Savannah region. In order to contribute effectively to the development of the region, by establishing a framework for dialogue and exchange in development, and by allowing its members to have a representative body. Since 1998, FODES has established four sectoral committees (CS): Education and Literacy (CEDA); Agriculture and Environment (CAE); Credit and Credit (CEC); Health and Water (CSE). These committees enable members to exchange knowledge and expertise, to inform each other about the objectives, means and programmes under way or envisaged, to collect and disseminate any information and documents that could assist them in their actions, to cooperate actively on the ground, and to defend their collective and specific interests. FODES offers interested persons a visit to the field work of some of its members.
