In the former Benedictine monastery of Saint-Magne, the museum presents a collection of historical European lutes and violins.

Housed in the former Benedictine monastery of St. Magne (Benediktinerkloster St. Mang), the museum has one of the finest collections of historical lutes and violins in Europe. In addition, you have access to the magnificent baroque halls, including the majestic Kaisersaal and the imposing baroque library of the monastery. You will also find the famous Füssen Dance of Death, the oldest in Bavaria, dating from the early 17th century.
