A beautiful, beautifully restored Protestant Gothic church with the crypt of the Margraves of Brandenburg-Bayreuth.
The Stadtkirche in Bayreuth is a beautiful late-Gothic church that became Protestant after the Reformation. Its interior gives an impression of extreme purity with its white walls and red pillars. Behind the altar is the entrance to the crypt. This is where the Margraves of Brandenburg-Bayreuth and their relatives are buried. Genealogy buffs can use the state-of-the-art touch screens to identify the individual sarcophagi. If you are looking for Wilhelmine's grave, go to the Schlosskirche.
