This small hotel has a total of eight rooms. It is situated on a hill at the edge of a forest, a five-minute walk from the famous Festspielhaus. This makes it a good address for Wagnerians - and for foodies looking for peace and quiet. The restaurant, which specialises in grilled meats and steaks, is one of the best in the city. It has a beautiful beer garden and a terrace with a beautiful view of the city. Its remoteness does not affect its attractiveness and the place is always busy.

Wir wurden mit großem und etwas unsicheren Hund an einen ruhigen Tisch auf der Terrasse platziert. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und ausgesprochen freundlich. Das Essen kam zügig und war sehr lecker und auch sehr schön angerichtet. Der Service war wie bereits erwähnt sehr aufmerksam aber ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Auf den unsicheren Hund wurde viel Rücksicht genommen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ristorante in una posizione bellissima, davanti alla collina.
Dopo l’ordine non ho dovuto aspettare molto per gustare una tagliata ottima, accompagnata da una salsa al pomodoro piccante che ne esaltava il gusto. Le verdurine come contorno erano semplici ma gustose! Il tutto accompagnato dall’ immancabile focaccina e da un perfetto aperol spritz, oserei dire il migliore della città.
